Babies aren't "gifts" to be given away
Society likes to tell mothers that their babies are “gifts” to the hopeful adoptive parents so it paints a prettier picture than the truth of relinquishment.
I hear people call adoptees “gifts.” Human beings aren’t gifts to be given away. This infuriates me every time I hear it. I am not a possession, even though adoption tried to turn me into one.
The “gift” I wanted was to grow up in my own family. I didn’t want to grow up with strangers. If adoption was supposed to be in my best interest, then why doesn’t anyone care what I wanted?
Calling an adoptee a gift erases the loss that made that adoption possible.
It ignores the separation.
It ignores the grief.
It ignores the lifelong impact of being removed from your own bloodline.
No one calls forced separation a gift.
But when adoption is wrapped in sentimentality, suddenly the trauma gets ignored as long as the outcome makes someone else happy.
And this is what hurts the most, my loss was never considered as important as their gain.
I wasn’t a “gift.”
I wasn’t a blessing for someone else.
I was a child with a family, a history, and a right to belong where I came from.

“The truth is out. Mothers are fighting back as state and private agencies are taking and trafficking their children. The human trafficking industry continues to impose its propaganda and control public opinion. Yet, more and more victims are becoming louder and bolder as their numbers grow.
The industry stops at nothing to make its profits. From kidnapping and stealing children, to coercing and threatening their parents, traffickers have demonstrated a total lack of humanity. One of the most insidious acts is having mothers live in condemnation for “relinquishing” their child.
We know this is a false narrative created by the humsn trafficking industry. Yet, people want to believe it is in the child’s best interest, they want to believe the system is there to protect them, so that is what the industry feeds us. The truth is, the scales are tipping. Mothers of murdered children are not holding back. Families are fighting back.
The industry can’t keep up this ruse forever. Yes it has many agents, lobbyists, ambassadors, and endorsors from heads of church and state, to the growing number of hospitals and fire stations installing baby drop boxes. There is a tipping point however. Women are catching on and deprogramming themselves, dismantling the propaganda, and fighting for their rights.
The truth is, the industry knows we are shutting it down. It’s just a matter of when. It’s a matter of how many more must lose their lives before we all will be liberated.
This market is closed! Kids are not for sale.”
