BIG, BEAUTIFUL, DISGUSTING BILL
The 1947 UN partition plan was put together by a committee of UN countries, not including the United States. The surrounding Arab countries thought they could forcefully take much of the land allocated to the Jews by force and a combined army attacked the new State of Israel. The Arabs lost not only the war, but lost land. Now they whine about it. It is the Arabs who have since continued to fire rockets into Israel, send in suicide bombers, and then Oct. 7, 2023.
There are over two million Arabs, the same as the population of Gaza, who live in Israel as full citizens of Israel, own businesses, homes, vote, go to school and university, even serve in the army. They are descendants of the non-terrorists who stayed in Israel in 1947-48 and fought the and defeated the combined Arab armies.
From 1948 up until Oct. 7, 2023, Gazans have traveled into Israel to work for good wages. They brought their sick children across the border to Israeli hospitals where they were treated for free, all while rockets continued to be fired into Israel by the various Gaza terrorist groups. Had the Arabs accepted the 1937 participation proposal, who know what Gaza would look like today nor what the lives of the “Palestinian Arabs” would be like today. It really was their choice.
I agree what is happening in Gaza today is a humanitarian crisis and wish it would somehow stop. I wish government would get out of the way of the people. Here is just one example amongst thousands.

I read the article until I saw the maps. We probably look at those maps differently. I look at them as debunked propaganda. One reason is that in 1947 the caption attempts to compare Jewish settlements to “Palestinian” land. Nice play on words but many see through that. In addition, in 1947 there were no “Palestinians.” There were not such a people.
Answer one question. I have seen these four maps posted together numerous times for numerous nefarious reasons. How come this 1937 map is not included where the land allocated for an Arab state is three times the size of the land partitioned off for a proposed Jewish state? The Jews accepted this plan and the Arab countries turned it down like they have with every two state suggestion.

I have never stated others are not entitled to their opinions, like many are telling me as they attack mine. I take issue with those who out right tell me not to post my opinions because they don’t agree with them, and that I should base my opinions on their experiences. Opinions are based on experiences. Why is it so hard to understand that we have lead different lives, with differing genetics, inherited trauma, experiences, teachings, and news sources? I have checked, read, watched, skimmed the sources you quote and post. However, we cannot have an intelligent conversation about our differing views unless you first understand the news and experiences I have been exposed to.
While the world soars ahead of us with high speed transportation for the masses, we are busy buying private jets and super yachts for the privileged few. Biden bravely got an infrastructure bill that would take a swing at improving our transportation systems, only to have funds stripped from these projects Executive Orders and by the Republicans’ “Big, Beautiful, Disgusting Bill.”
