ADOPTION IS HUMAN TRAFFICKING
No, you don't know a happy adoptee, you know a victim of human trafficking in survival mode.
It's not about individual experiences where people make the argument that not all "adoptions" are bad. It is about the fact there is an industry that has victimized, dehumanized, and commodified mothers and their children to exploit them for profit.
Remember the act, the means, and the purpose that define human trafficking.
While it is illegal to transfer and transport people for money (trafficking), it is necessary to dehumanize and commodify these human lives in order to do so legally as commodities.
What makes it worse is that the victims are then blamed, punished, and burdened with appealing to their traffickers to ask for their rights back, to become human again. Rather than acknowledging their wrongdoings, the traffickers instead continue to abuse their power and use control tactics to deny and delay returning their rights to them. In many cases this ensures reunification between parents and children doesn't occur due to their deaths.
The inhumanity of this trafficking scheme also includes mothers being coerced, forced, and shamed into giving their child to these traffickers who then tell them it was their decision and to move on and forget about their child. That they give up their legal rights as a parent and told that this an act of love. In the meantime, the child is told by their traffickers that they were "relinquished" and left feeling unwanted and angry, that their mothers were unfit and unable to keep them. Again ensuring reunification won't be pursued.
As a result of these layers of trafficking, brainwashing and deception, the children are then pathologized and treated for mental health issues caused by their inability or unwillingness to adjust and assimilate to their new "families." The goal of their treatment is to instill the brainwashing so they play their part in the illusion of being adopted and grateful for being saved.
Those who find out the truth of this trafficking scheme are discredited and silenced. With the world in on this scheme, where are these victims able to go for help and support?
Be aware and beware.

The truth is that the
trauma comes from being victimized, dehumanized, and commodified by this trafficking industry.
