BLIND ARROGANCE




Ladies, I have always been on your side, voted for your causes, supported your rights, equal rights. However, more than ever, you must unite and fight against those who worship chauvinism. They believe MAGA means turning back the clock so civil rights will only be those rights granted during medieval times. There will always be handmaidens. You possess the power to choose not to be one of them. 


Perhaps Republicans agree with your beliefs today. The problem is, will they agree with you tomorrow? If not, they have just screwed you. The handmaidens have won. There is no longer a choice. Your vote has been voided. 


Republican activists in Texas, Nebraska, and Louisiana have a new way to turn the clock back to the 1950s -- and rob women of their autonomy.


Republicans nationwide are now pushing to repeal no-fault divorce laws, which allow women to walk away from an unhappy marriage without having to prove abuse, infidelity, or other misconduct in court. The Texas GOP just added it to their platform.


They’ve BANNED abortion which allows women to control their bodies


They want to BAN the abortion pill & birth control.


Republicans treat women like bloody chattel.


Some read The Handmaid's Tale for its tremendous literary value.


Republican ChristoFascists read it as an operating manual.

You say let’s start a grassroots campaign to vote them out, upset their plans, reverse their new laws. Republicans are changing the rules for that, too, by giving themselves the power to overturn, void your vote.

You say the Supreme Court will hold such laws to be unconstitutional. Unfortunately, even the Supreme Court can no longer be counted upon to do what is right, what our Constitution dictates. You who voted Republican ignored the warnings. ðŸ˜¢

Caught Between Two Worlds

I was just an infant when I was taken from my homeland of Canada’s First Nations. “Now I live as a foreigner to my people. The pain that is often spoken of that comes with such separation and loss is only dwarfed by the pain of being taken from the life you were born into and forced to live an alternate reality that shouldn’t exist.  This is a perspective not brought up enough.
