Someone posted the following video and suggested that today we are so uptight this show could not be done today. I asked if they watched any current TV programs or movies, meaning we have progressed so far beyond that. I grew up when a mixed couple meant Irish and Italian or a Catholic and a Jew. 

Mixed race and same sex couples are commonplace today. So much so that our children will grow up considering it normal. It seems I blindsided her and she attacked me. There will always be bigots and racists. I posted a Mark Twain meme, left the conversation and went back to the homogeneous world of the future.

In short, I will support and vote for Biden/Harris in 2024. I will bite my tongue, hold my nose and again vote for the lesser of two evils. Politics is not my forte. You see, during my previous seven decades of being politically involved, only two candidates grabbed both my heart and soul and neither won. They were Robert F. Kennedy and Bernard Sanders because I care about my country, the American people, the human race, the world my grandchildren grow up in and dogs.
