Our politicians and billionaires could learn a lesson. But they won’t. They are the opposite of Keanu. For example, Elon Musk grew up privileged under apartheid.
Blaming Mexicans and Latino refugees for our economic woes and loss of jobs did not work, did not take hold except among the “poorly educated” who get all their news from FOX and Trump. So now they are blaming it on Canadians overstaying their work visas. Who voted for these mouth breathing, anti-American zealot cultists?
To quote Donald Trump on January 6, 2021, “The Democrats are hopeless. they never vote for anything.” That’s what happens when you never read anything and only look at the pictures and cartoons. Everything the Republicans voted against, the Democrats voted “for.” That’s how our democracy has worked since Richard Nixon ran for President. Remember Mitch McConnell boasting when Barack Obama became President that the Republicans would oppose everything he proposed, whether it helped the average voter and their family or not? What else would you expect from an alleged southern racist? McConnell even made Republicans who wanted to remain on his good side swear an oath never to vote for anything Obama proposed. That is how our government came to a standstill that still exists and will continue to exist as long as you continue to vote for Republicans. The choice is fascism or democracy. What say you?
