Homophobia
Islamophobia
Antisemitism
Racism
Metathesiophobia
Xenophobia
Misogyny
That reads like a list of traits of today’s Republican. Nothing positive, everything negative. Fear of this, fear of that. Blame them. Now children are afraid to attend school out fear of being killed and/or the trauma of seeing their friends murdered.
Our country has always been progressive, like humans for the most part always were, making progress. Technological progress. Educational progress. “Evidence from individual scholars, academic institutions, and international organizations shows dramatic improvements in human well-being throughout much of the world. In recent decades, these improvements have been especially striking in developing countries.”
Today, Republicans seem to be against progress. At the same time, they seem to be for nothing other than personal greed and power. It is a conundrum I confess to not understanding. It is as if they have migrated to the “dark side,” driven by greed and hate. They hold themselves up as a standard and hate anyone who deviates from their faux ideals. They seem to believe in the existence of the one, them, over the progress of the many. They use religion to enslave white Americans just as Rev. Billy Graham and Sen. Barry Goldwater feared.
I find nothing in common with todays evangelical Republicans. They do not believe in what I do for humanity in America and, with their use of fear, call everything I believe in to be socialism and against the teachings of their Bible. The right has done this for over 100 years. They believe only in whatever can turn a profit, make them rich and everyone else poor corporate slaves. Label me what ever pleases you, but I am for, in no particular order:
College or Trade School For All As Public Education

My question is, why are you not also for these issues, some if not all? Voting Republican today is voting against each and everyone of them. For what?
